[ENG] Astro as a Universal CMS Frontend: Patterns, Tradeoffs and a Real-World Case
CMS landscapes are diverse: headless, hybrid, visual editors, embedded content tooling, and bespoke APIs all have different expectations from the frontend. In this talk I’ll show how Astro’s framework-agnostic rendering and island architecture help unify these patterns, what architectural tradeoffs matter in real projects, and what we learned integrating a visual CMS into an Astro-based workflow — focusing on practical decisions and not on product marketing.
