This talk shares the story of migrating the Zendesk Knowledge editor from legacy to the new editor. What we expected to be a relatively straightforward move from Early access program to public release became almost two years of work across engineering, product, and operations. I will cover the main decisions, the challenges we hit, what we overlooked, and the lessons learned from shipping a major editor migration in an existing product.
